During the month of December, 2023, the newly formed Local 110 Veteran Council collected coats, hats, gloves and scarves. On Friday, Jan. 12, the collection was taken to the Veterans Community Project in downtown St. Louis just before a bitter cold spell blanketed the Midwest. The visitor center sees a lot of veterans in need coming through their doors. The Local 110 Veteran Council made it a point to get the donations on site before the record low temperatures hit the area.
Delivering the coats were Veteran Council members Dan Williams, Gale Jamison, Tommy Mohr, and Business Manager Ronny Griffin.
