The 2024 LIUNA Midwest Region Tri-Funds Conference was held from June 9 through June 12 at Margaritaville Resort at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. LIUNA Vice President and Midwest Regional Manager David A. Frye was joined by nearly 300 LIUNA leaders and representatives from the Midwest Region in welcoming LIUNA General President Brent Booker and LIUNA General Secretary-Treasurer Michael Sabitoni to the event, where they spoke about Laborers Rising and
the “March to One Million” – President Booker’s goal to have One Million LIUNA member within ten years.
Other Honored guest included Retired LIUNA Vice President and Midwest Regional Manager John F. Penn, LIUNA Retiree Council member Robert Wright, Brendan O’ Sullivan from LIUNA Construction, Javar Cruz (National LECET), Travis Parsons (LHSFNA), and Kevin Reilly from the LIUNA Legislative and Political department.
Keynote speakers were Jenay Sherman, Champion Consulting; Richard Coffey, Former pro athlete and Airborne Paratrooper in the U.S. Army; The Honorable Robin Carnahan, Administrator of the United States General Services Administration; and Patrick Nelson, Trainer and Fortune 500 Consultant.
