Members of the Jefferson City, Mo., Local 662 Volunteer Organizing Committee (VOC) prepared and served 313 meals for the Holts Summit Soup Kitchen. The soup kitchen serves an average of 200 meals per day, and demand for the soup kitchen has increased greatly since 2008. All of the food is provided free of charge and is all acquired through donations.
