The Columbia, Mo., 955 Volunteer Organizing Committee (VOC) was back in action over the weekend. This VOC project was for Craig Robertson, a 69-year-old retired WireCo employee and Patriot Guard member from Kirksville, Mo. Craig, who enjoys farming, deer hunting, and family time, recently had his left leg amputated due to a blood clot and will be in a wheelchair for six months. Volunteers installed a pad for a wheelchair lift and a new, wider sidewalk to help him access his porch.

Special thanks to volunteers David Riney, Wayne Rose, Marvis Purdiman, Richie Fray, and Glenn Robertson.
