LIUNA Local 393 held its 40th annual fish fry Friday, November 3, 2023. Proceeds from the dinner go to the Clarence Trovero Memorial Food Basket Fund. At holiday time, the fund is used to purchase food to make up 100 food baskets to hand out to families in need. Toys, hats, and gloves are distributed to children in those families as well.

“Local 393 has been a part of this community for 90 years, so giving back or lending a helping hand just comes naturally,” said Kevin Dale, Business Manager for LIUNA Local 393. “It’s just what good neighbors do.”

Twenty-five members helped volunteer to sell around 300 dinners. The meals included cod, French fries, coleslaw, and baked beans.
